Who we are and what these terms cover

GameBid Price Finder (“the extension”) is a free Chrome extension made by GameBid, a trading name of GameBid Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17497897), whose registered office is at 66 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NA, United Kingdom. These terms are an agreement between you and GameBid Ltd, and cover using the extension. Buying or selling on GameBid is covered by the GameBid Terms of Service, which apply whenever you use www.gamebid.co.uk. If these terms and the GameBid Terms of Service differ about the extension, these terms apply.

Using the extension

You can use the extension free, for your own personal use, without an account. It works in a current version of Chrome or another Chromium browser that can install Chrome Web Store extensions. Please don't misuse it or GameBid's price service: don't try to break either of them, probe them for other people's data, copy GameBid's price data in bulk, or send automated traffic. We may limit or block access that does.

Prices

Prices come only from completed sales and current listings on GameBid. They aren't the whole market. A past sale isn't an offer, or a promise that a copy is available at that price. Check the listing on GameBid before you buy. When GameBid has no sales for a game, the extension says so. When GameBid can't be reached, it says prices are coming soon. It never makes up a price.

Made by GameBid

The extension is made by GameBid, so it isn't an independent price comparison. It shows no other shops and has no affiliate links. Buying on GameBid has no buyer fee. Sellers pay GameBid's normal fees when something sells (see Help & fees).

Changes

We may update or improve the extension, change these terms, or stop offering the extension. Chrome may install updates automatically. If we make an important change to these terms, we'll change the date at the top and say so on the extension page. You can stop using the extension at any time by removing it from Chrome.

Our responsibility to you

The extension is free. We take reasonable care to keep it working and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We're responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We're not responsible for loss that isn't foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.

Privacy

How the extension handles data is explained in the extension privacy policy.

Names and trademarks

Game names and platform names belong to their owners. GameBid Price Finder isn't connected to or endorsed by those publishers or platform makers. Chrome and the Chrome Web Store are trademarks of Google LLC.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. Nothing in these terms takes away the protection of the mandatory consumer laws where you live.
