GameBid Price Finder

See what a physical game usually sells for on GameBid, what sold recently and what is listed now. Prices in pounds. Free, with no account. Made by GameBid: it shows GameBid prices only, not other shops (more).

Coming soon to Chrome

Not on the Chrome Web Store yet.

Only the game title and the platform are sent to gamebid.co.uk, along with what every web request carries, such as your IP address. The page address, the price on the page and the rest of the page stay on your computer.

How it works

  1. Open a game page

Click the toolbar icon. The extension reads the game’s title from that page, or you can type a title into the popup.

  2. Ask GameBid

The popup sends that title and the platform you picked (for example PS5, Xbox or Switch). Nothing else from the page.

  3. See the prices

What the game usually sells for on GameBid, recent sales, and how many copies are listed now.

What it shows

  • Usually sells for: the typical GameBid sold price, with the low and high.
  • Recent GameBid sales: price, postage, condition and the date each one sold.
  • On GameBid now: how many copies are listed, with a View on GameBid button.
  • Sell yours on GameBid: a link for listing your own copy.

GameBid is new, so many games have no completed sales yet. When that happens the popup says “No GameBid sales yet” rather than guessing. Sold prices only count completed GameBid sales.

What it looks like

The Price Finder popup for Elden Ring on PS5: usually sells for £22 on GameBid, a sold-price chart and three recent sales. Labelled example data.
Usually sells for, the low and high, a chart and recent sales with dates. Example data, not live GameBid prices.
The popup listing two Elden Ring copies on GameBid, each with a View on GameBid button, and a Sell yours on GameBid link. Labelled example data.
What is on GameBid now, with View on GameBid and Sell yours on GameBid. Example data, not live GameBid prices.
Two popup messages: No GameBid sales yet, and GameBid prices coming soon. No prices are shown.
No sales yet? It says so. Can’t reach GameBid? It says that too. It never guesses a price.

Who makes it, affiliate links and fees

GameBid Price Finder is made by GameBid, so it isn’t an independent price comparison. It shows only GameBid’s own sold prices and listings, and doesn’t check other shops, so a game may be cheaper elsewhere. It has no affiliate links and no ads, and GameBid earns nothing from you using it. View on GameBid opens the listing on gamebid.co.uk. Buying on GameBid has no buyer fee. Sellers pay GameBid’s normal fees when something sells (see Help & fees).
